Our History
Ascent Wellfield Group was founded in 2022 through the merger of two well-established, family-style businesses: Ascent Healthcare Ltd and Wellfield Healthcare Ltd. Since then, we’ve grown significantly through thoughtful acquisitions—from a two-pharmacy operation to a nationwide network.
Today, Ascent Wellfield Group proudly operates over 50 pharmacies across the UK, alongside our recently introduced online platform, MyPharmacyShop. This expansion reflects our commitment to accessible, modern, and patient-focused healthcare.
While we’ve grown, our focus remains local. We never lose sight of what matters most: being there for our communities, offering support, advice, and care you can trust.
Our operations are backed by two highly experienced head office teams, based in Derby and Manchester, who provide dedicated support to our branches and ensure consistent, high-quality service across the group.
